Before recommending equipment, we look at how your building is actually used. That means specifying a system around the building rather than trying to fit the building around a standard product.
Our commercial installation projects can range from individual offices and retail units through to larger multi-zone systems.
Commercial buildings rarely have the luxury of being empty. Offices, shops, warehouses and other workplaces often need to continue operating while installation work takes place.
We plan installation around the practical realities of the building, coordinating access, working areas, pipework routes and other contractors where required.
For larger projects, installation can be phased to suit the programme and reduce the impact on staff, customers and day-to-day operations.
Consider a replacement if you are experiencing repeated faults, rising repair costs, poor cooling performance or difficulty obtaining parts.
Changes to the building can also make an existing system unsuitable — particularly following refurbishment, changes in occupancy or changes to how individual areas are used.
We can assess the existing system and help you understand the practical options rather than automatically recommending a full replacement.
Where replacement is the better long-term option, we can design and install the new system around the current requirements of your building.
Installation and handover ahead of a staff move-in
Ecotech completed a commercial air conditioning installation for a client moving into new premises, including ceiling cassette units, refrigerant pipework, condensate drainage, electrical and control wiring.
The system was pressure tested, evacuated, charged and commissioned before client handover, providing heating and cooling with simple digital control.
Following the installation, the client also appointed Ecotech for a five-year planned preventative maintenance contract.
Large VRF installation while the building remained operational
Ecotech installed a Mitsubishi Electric VRF heat-pump system for the refurbishment of an 8,000 sq ft training academy.
The project included 67kW of total output and 13 indoor units, combining wall-mounted and ceiling cassette units with independent control and remote access.
The installation was completed while the building remained operational, including a challenging roof installation that required the outdoor equipment to be transported without the use of a crane.
Comfortable, controllable working environments for single offices through to larger headquarters.
Customer and staff comfort with systems designed around shop-floor layouts and opening hours.
Heating and cooling solutions for offices, control rooms, workshops and industrial environments.
Commercial climate control designed around larger spaces and operational requirements.
Commercial HVAC solutions designed around the requirements of healthcare environments.
Heating and cooling for schools, colleges and other education buildings.
Climate control for hotels, hospitality venues, gyms and leisure environments.
Reliable cooling where temperature control is important for equipment and continuous operation.
There isn't a meaningful one-size-fits-all price for commercial air conditioning. The cost depends on the building and the system required.
We provide a scoped quotation based on the actual installation requirements rather than giving you a misleading price based only on the number of indoor units.
